Empowering Communities Through CSR Initiatives
- Lakshi Salon organizes a blood donation campaign every year.
- Two blood donation campaigns were conducted during the Covid-19 pandemic, with 220 blood donors participating. It stands as the largest blood donation ever held in the Ratnapura district.
- As an appreciative gesture of their sports talents, Lakshi Salon donated sports equipment and accessories required for athletes participating in the Para Games for the Army Special Forces (SF).
- Lakshi Salon donates school items to rural schools annually.
- In conjunction with World Children’s Day 2017, Lakshi Salon provided shoes, socks, water bottles, library books, and lunch to 102 children of Vivegananda Vidyalaya, a rural school in the Belihul Oya Nanperial area.
- Lakshi Salon donated equipment to the cancer hospital in Maharagama.
- In 2018, Lakshi Salon successfully held a donation event for 100 needy school children on its premises.
- Poson Haircut Dansala was held by Lakshi Salon on Poson Poya Day 2023. Over 200 participants received a free haircut on that day.
- Presented an ancient puppet show dance (Dikthala Kalagola drama) free of charge for over 2000 spectators on Poson Poya Day, for the Ratnapura community. The event was fully sponsored by Lakshi Salon, attracting more than 2000 participants.
